First Annual 48th Ward Halloween Parade and Festival

Here are details of the first-ever 48th Ward Halloween Parade. Join your neighbors on Saturday, October 29 for a fun day filled with activities.

Starting at 10:00am, we will gather at Peirce Elementary School. At 10:45am, we will march from Peirce north on Clark Street to Gethsemane Garden Center. From 11:00am - 4:00pm, Gethsemane's Halloween Festival with face painting, pony rides, bean bag toss, a hay bale maze, and two performances from Jug-a-Nuts and Scales & Tails. There will be stroller parking in the Kingfisher parking lot. Edgewater Avenue near Clark Street will be closed for the festivities. This event is co-sponsored by the Andersonville Chamber of Commerce, Gethsemane Garden Center, ETNA and EARC block clubs, Dream Big Performing Arts, and the Community Christian Church of Edgewater.
